SMS Terms & Conditions
Stop Idaho RINOs ("we," "us," "our") offers a mobile messaging program (the "Program"). By opting in to the Program, you agree to these SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions. If you no longer wish to participate, reply STOP to any mobile message from us.
Program Description
The Program delivers SMS and MMS messages related to the Stop Idaho RINOs campaign, including event reminders, volunteer coordination, donation receipts and thank-you messages, campaign updates, and time-sensitive action alerts. Donations may be solicited.
How You Opt In
You may opt in to the Program through any of the following methods:
Web form: By entering your mobile phone number on our website at www.stopidahorinos.com and checking the SMS consent checkbox.
Text-to-join (keyword): By texting a designated keyword to our designated phone number as advertised in our campaign materials.
Regardless of the method you use to opt in, these Terms apply to your participation in the Program. The Program requires human intervention to initiate messages and does not use an automatic telephone dialing system ("ATDS" or "autodialer"). By participating, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Stop Idaho RINOs and understand that consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Cost & Frequency
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on campaign activity and your interactions with us. You may receive multiple messages per week.
Opt-Out Instructions
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message from us. You may receive a single confirmation message after opting out. You will not receive further Program messages unless you opt in again.
Help
For support, reply HELP to any message from us, or visit https://stopidahorinos.com/contact.
MMS Disclosure
If your mobile device does not support MMS messaging, you will receive SMS messages instead.
Carrier Disclaimer
We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your wireless carrier and network conditions, which are outside our control. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile Information & Third-Party Sharing
Mobile phone numbers and any personal information collected through the SMS/text messaging Program will not be shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile opt-in data or consent information collected through the Program will be available to any third parties for those third parties' own use. This restriction applies at all times, without exception.
Warranty Disclaimer
The Program is offered on an "as-is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, timeliness, or accuracy of messages delivered through the Program.
Privacy Policy
This privacy policy ("Policy") explains how Stop Idaho RINOs collects, uses, and discloses personal information through the website at www.stopidahorinos.com (the "Site") and our SMS/text messaging Program. We may update this Policy at any time by posting a revised version on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
What Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
When you interact with our Site or Program — for example, by making a donation, signing up for email or text updates, volunteering, completing a form, or contacting us — you may provide information such as your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and payment information.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our Site, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and general location data. If you access the Site from a mobile device, we may also collect your device type and unique device identifier.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to improve your experience, analyze usage trends, and serve relevant content. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings, though some features of the Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect to process donations and transactions you request; send confirmations, receipts, and administrative messages; deliver campaign updates, newsletters, event information, and text messages you have opted in to receive; connect you with other supporters and coordinate volunteers; respond to your questions, comments, and requests; analyze Site usage to improve our services and your experience; and serve relevant content and outreach based on your interests and engagement.
Information Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share personal information with service providers and vendors who perform work on our behalf (such as payment processors, email platforms, and hosting providers), and when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Stop Idaho RINOs, our supporters, or the public.
SMS Program Data: Personal information collected through our SMS/text messaging Program — including mobile phone numbers — will not be shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile opt-in data or mobile phone numbers collected through the Program will be shared with any third parties for those third parties' own marketing use. This applies at all times and without exception.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you without restriction.
Third-Party Services on Our Site
Third-party services such as Google, Facebook, and similar platforms may use cookies or tracking technologies on our Site to serve ads or collect analytics data. These third parties are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies separately.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We and our third-party partners use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how you use the Site, and deliver targeted content. You may block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Web beacons are small, invisible images that may be used on the Site or in emails to monitor engagement.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
Your Choices
You have the following choices regarding your information:
Email: You may unsubscribe from our email communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email we send.
Text messages: Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of the SMS Program.
Cookies: Adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies.
Location data: You may disable location services through your mobile device settings.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and Stop Idaho RINOs, or between you and any third-party service provider acting on our behalf, arising out of or relating to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or any related matter, will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in Caldwell, Idaho, before a single arbitrator. For claims exceeding $250,000, the JAMS Comprehensive Arbitration Rules apply; for claims of $250,000 or less, the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules apply. The arbitrator will apply Idaho substantive law (excluding choice-of-law provisions). The Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §§ 1–16) governs any arbitration under these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all proceedings — whether in arbitration or court — will be conducted on an individual basis only, and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action. Each party waives any right to a jury trial.
The arbitrator may award monetary damages and other remedies permitted by applicable law but may not modify any term of these Terms. The arbitrator's written decision is final, binding, and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party will bear one-half of the arbitrator's fees and facility costs. The prevailing party may recover reasonable attorneys' fees. All arbitration proceedings and outcomes will remain confidential except as required by law or to enforce the award.
